The Accelerating Clinical Coordinator Excellence (ACCE) Program was founded in 2017 as a foundation course through the collaborative effort between the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences, the Center for Clinical Studies, the Human Research Protection Office, and senior clinical research coordinators across the Institution. The program is designed to provide basic information and insight about the clinical research process as an introduction to the study coordinator role and responsibilities. An overview of  topics such as research ethics, types of human research, and regulatory requirements will be provided.
