Central to Washington University in St. Louis’ mission is fostering excellence.
In an effort to promote excellence and professional development for clinical research professionals, the new Accelerating Clinical Coordinator Excellence (ACCE) Program was established in 2017.
Our objectives are to ensure that all researchers and staff are engaged in individualized translational workforce development programs. As a result, our investigators will be well equipped to generate and answer cutting-edge research questions and be successful in obtaining resources to conduct high impact, hypothesis-driven translational research.
Research support staff are critically important to consistent adherence to regulation and policies, and to the rigor and reproducibility of clinical research. We aim to train, develop, and promote outstanding research professionals who will perform essential tasks as members of clinical and translational research teams. We have developed training to advance the careers of research coordinators, regulatory staff, and other key members of multi-disciplinary research teams.
